Spotted

While walking through downtown Brooklyn, I spotted one of our Fruit Stripes hats on a cute girl who appears to be making a date. Good luck!

Boating Hats

It would take a lot for guys nowadays to wear something like this. Yet, when this was painted, in 1877 by Gustave Caillebotte, what surprised people was not the hats – with fluttering ribbons – but the fact that you could not see the rowers faces. In any case, it’s very cool. A cross between a bowler and a baseball-cap. Maybe a solution for skimpy fedora tedium?

Basket Case

A few weeks ago one of our favorite stylists working at Isaac Mizrahi approached us with the idea of making a hat basket inspired by tourist bags from the 50's. With the help of a booklet that Lola picked up while in Shoreditch, London, we got started. You can now see the results of our labor on www.style.com
